Post Test

Post Test Training
Post Test training is quite simply any training that you undertake after you have past your test.
Althought we can provide, Back to Bikes courses for people wanting to ease themselves back into bike riding after a break and taster sessions for those that are a little curious the Post Test training that we provide is generally working towards 1 of 2 standards, the DVSA Enhanced Rider Scheme (ERS) and Advanced.

The DVSA ERS (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency Enhanced Rider Scheme is primarliy for those who wish to improved the standard of their rinding past the point of the DVSA standard test but do not feel the need to go and do all of the required preperation towards a full on Advanced riding qualification such as IAM (Institute of Advanced Motoring) or RoSPA (Royal Society for the Provention of Accidents) etc.

Following the sucessful completion of the ERS course you will be sent a certificate from the DVSA which proves that you have met that standard and this may be presented to your insurnace company who may then offer you a discount on your renewal.  Many insurance companies offer this but not all, its worth shopping around.

If you undertake advanced training with us we will apply for an ERS certificate on your behalf, when that level has been acheived and then go on with further training in preperation for one of the above mentioned Advanced Riding qualifications.  You would need to contact the respective organisation in order to book and take their test but we can help you with that.

It should be noted that all examiners of the various Advanced Riding Tests are either serving or ex-Police class 1 riders and the standard required in order to pass is very high.
